What is Hydraulic Side Shift?

A side shift carriage, commonly referred to as just ‘Side Shift’ is a functionality in most forklifts that allows the fork carriage to move left and right, which in turn shifts both tines together. This feature allows forklift operators to properly align the tines on a forklift with a pallet without having re-maneuver the entire truck.

This in turn increases forklift productivity, and safety as loads are balanced properly on the forklift.

Nearly all modern Toyota forklifts include Integral Side Shift as it is such a valuable feature.
